Version 3.42 (2007-06-18):

Bug Fixed:
o The "Add filter" drop list was displayed over the editing box of the default filter (if there was one defined).
o Crop filter: Didn't croped when count longer than file name's length.
o Search&Replace: Wildcard possible memory overflow, memory leak and bug fix.
o Search&Replace: Series didn't increment when the output filename was same as the input.
o Search&Replace: Safeguards for bad user inputs when series is active.
o Search&Replace: Do uptdate after pressing "series" when there is nothing in replace field.
o Update the files' list after manually renaming files.
o Use default filter values if none is defined.
Version 3.32 (2004-10-08):

o Activate ID3Tag when people add an ID3 macro by using the replace context menu.
Changes:
o Smaller minimum main window size.
Bugs Fixed:
o Search&Replace: ID3Tag check box was always checked.
o Search&Replace: Replace context menu disabled wrong items.

o Display a warning if a file's extension is going to be modified.
o Search&Replace: Display an invite text in search and replace edit boxes to help new users.
o Invite user to add a filter when started from Explorer or from command line.

o `Add filter' is default button (it used to be `Rename files').
o Search&Replace: If no search string is provided, replace the whole file name.
o Search&Replace: If no replace string is provided, and "Series" is selected, then set replace string to "Image %3d".
Bugs Fixed:
o Change case: Didn't support unicode characters in Word or iNVERT mode.

Bugs Fixed:
o Move Up/Down filter function is not disabled when it should (affects context menu MoveUp/Down and Up/Down buttons).
o Corrected "File not found" message when adding files that already exist.
o When renaming file without extensions, the sample file is now "Sample_FileName" instead of "Sample_FileName.Ext".
o Editing a filter in "Filename with extension" mode didn't displayed the file's extension in sample string.
o Case filter now displays correct description for "iNVERT cASE" mode.

o Filter strings over 256 characters couldn't be loaded.

o The "Filter" and "Cancel" buttons don't move along with the changing window size.

o Better user interface:
- Starting Rename-It! from the Explorer's context menu leads directly to the Search&Replace dialog by default,
- "Rename files" button moved out of the filter's frame,
- Seperated "Add filter" menu's filters and filter list load/save functions (witch are now in a "Filters" menu).
o Edition of the "Before" string enabled in the Search&Replace filter's dialog.
Bugs Fixed:
o Include the size of the null terminating character when using RegSetValueEx(..).
o Drag/Drop files on Rename-It.exe - unicode version - don't work.
Minor Changes:
o You can define the default filter to use in the configuration dialog.
o In the Search&Replace dialog: Changed "Before" to "Before renaming (sample):", and "After" to "After applying the filter:".
o Added a "Cancel" button on the main page.
o Clear the filters' list before loading a RIT file. If the list is not empty ask promp for saving.
o Focus the "Rename files" by default at program start (if the button is enabled).
o The GNU GPL is also installed with Rename-It!.
Version 3.10 (2003-11-12):

o Can rename a virtually illimited number of files from the Windows Shell context menu.

o Little help message for new users avaible from the main dialog help menu.
Changes:
o When adding files, all the files not added are displayed in a list in a new window.
Bugs Fixed:
o Wilcard bug for cases like: Search * and replace by *<ext> gives *<ext>* as result (and not *<ext>).

It doesn't anymore put something after a non-ascii character in uppercase.
